Refund Policy

1. Scope

This Refund Policy applies to service payments made directly to Pittsburgh Publishers for writing, editing, design, publishing support, marketing, and related author services. Project-specific agreements or signed service documents may contain additional terms that apply to a particular engagement.

2. Refund Requests

If you believe a refund should be reviewed, contact Pittsburgh Publishers in writing and include your name, project information, payment details, and the reason for the request. Each request is reviewed according to the service agreement, the work already completed, and any costs already incurred for the project.

3. Work Already Performed

Amounts corresponding to work already performed, deliverables already provided, allocated production time, or services already used may not be refundable. Where a project has only been partially completed, any approved refund may reflect the value of completed work and committed project resources.

4. Third-Party Costs

Charges paid or committed to independent third parties, including platform fees, printing costs, advertising spend, distribution charges, registration costs, or other external expenses, are generally outside the control of Pittsburgh Publishers and may not be refundable once incurred.

5. Project Holds and Cancellations

If you need to pause or cancel a project, notify us as soon as possible. We will review the current project stage, completed work, outstanding deliverables, and any applicable written agreement before confirming the available options.

6. Approved Refunds

If a refund is approved, Pittsburgh Publishers will communicate the approved amount and processing method. Bank, card issuer, or payment processor timelines may affect when the funds appear in your account.

7. Questions

For questions about a payment or refund request, contact Pittsburgh Publishers at info@pittsburghpublishers.com and reference your project details.
